If you are looking to put your mind on airplain mode, to give a holiday to your thoughts with TOP guest treatment: just make yourself a favor and press BOOK, you are at the right add! I stayed a total of 6 nights in Ruen Come In with a friend and it has been by far the best hotel experience of my life. Starting by the beautiful, wooden, traditional house, to the delicious breakfast (with a variety of choises, full of details and made out of the goods grown in the property). The staff and hotel owners couldn’t been nicer, always ready to answere the questions you may have or the requests you did not even articulate yet. The whole place is inmaculated clean, all the time. The rooms are spacious (we stayed in 2) and very elegant. Beds are large and confortable and you will find many amenities for you to enjoy. The swimming pool and relaxing area are also a MUST (take a day off of your busy tours schedules to enjoy it). I believe they also have bicycles but we did not use them. Many thanks to the kitchen, reception, cleaning and gardening staff for all your efforts. This is a stay I will not forget.

The hotel is really beautiful, feeling peaceful and relaxing. The bathroom was particularly nicely decorated, and nice amenities were provided. The staff were friendly, helpful and provided excellent food at breakfast. The location is outside the old town, which we preferred as being less touristy than inside the old town walls, but it's worth being aware that it's a 40 minute walk to get to the night markets, sights etc. To get to the base of the mountain for the monk's path, we got a grab car, since it wasn't easy to get there otherwise. We enjoyed spotting some very beautiful cats as well!

The family built the wooden house themselves, but it has a historic feel to it in the most positive sense. As soon as you pass the gate, you are inside a little green oasis inside an otherwise pretty loud city. The furnishings are great. You can choose your breakfast every morning and it is freshly prepared at your preferred time. The filter coffee tastes great. A wonderful spot from front to back, even if it is a bit in the outskirts - but there is a 7Eleven around the corner. Grab to the old town costs only 90-100 THB and you can also walk to the old town in 15-20 minutes.

As soon as we arrived at Ruen Come In we were greeted with a lovely homemade welcome drink and friendly faces. Throughout our stay the family owners couldn’t help us enough. They were exceptional from start to finish and it really felt like we were staying at a caring family home. Facilities were authentic and exactly as described. We really couldn’t rate our stay any higher and if we return to Chiang Mai we wouldn’t hesitate at all to stay here again.
