what a beautiful place - from the minute you pull up at the Ruen Come In, you literally feel the stress lift off your shoulders. it’s a small, friendly hotel with beautiful teak wood floors, swimming pool, places to sit and read in the sun (and shade) and the nicest staff. we stayed three nights and I wished we had booked longer in Chiang Mai rather than return to Bangkok. Rooms were clean, bed super-comfy and breakfasts were delicious. The owner Mai has a farm and organic food is on the menu and amazing homemade peanut butter. astonishingly good value.

They were exceptional from start to finish and it really felt like we were staying at a caring family home. Facilities were authentic and exactly as described. We really couldn’t rate our stay any higher and if we return to Chiang Mai we wouldn’t hesitate at all to stay here again.

Khun Mai and her family and staff welcomed us and went out their way to help us find our way around and enjoy our quiet times at breakfast and by the pool. The beautiful traditional style house and organic produce make this a very lovely place to stay.

The beautiful buildings are set in lovely grounds. Each building is a different style, making the property quite unique. As it was originally a family home, it has a real homely feel. We were greeted by the friendly owner who was very helpful in explaining where to visit and booking taxis for us. She drove us into the city and then to the train station herself.
